Political advisory body to hold session in November

The Standing Committee of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's political advisory body, plans to convene its third session in November.

In preparation for the session, a meeting of the CPPCC National Committee chairman and vice chairpersons was held on Tuesday.

The session is expected to provide suggestions on comprehensively deepening China's reforms, according to a statement after Tuesday's meeting, which was presided over by Yu Zhengsheng, chairman of the CPPCC National Committee.
