High demand for airport parking

Shanghai airport authority advised passengers to take public transport to Pudong International Airport during the National Day holiday rather than drive their own cars, as parking spaces will be in great demand.

The airport expects 6,000 vehicles to park at the airport during the holiday, exceeding its 4,500 parking spaces.

When these 4,000 spaces are full, drivers will be instructed to park in overflow spaces or by the roadside in a 5-kilometer radius of the airport, the airport authority announced on its official Weibo account.
