Chinese vice premier meets with Ukraine official

Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang met with Ukraine's First Vice Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov on the sidelines of the 2013 Euro-Asia Economic Forum in northwest China on Thursday.

China and Ukraine should strengthen cooperation in trade, agriculture and finance to advance the strategic partnership and benefit the two countries' development and people, Wang said.

Arbuzov said Ukraine-China relations are witnessing sound development and expressed willingness to deepen cooperation with China.

The forum began on Thursday in Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province.
