A Foreign Ministry spokeswoman on Monday strongly condemned recent bombings in Pakistan and expressed condolences for the victims.

Spokeswoman Hua Chunying made the remarks at a regular press briefing when asked to comment on Sunday's bombings in Pakistan.

She said China rejects terrorism in all forms and strongly condemns the bombings.

She conveyed sympathy for the injured, as well as the relatives of the victims.

China will continue to support the efforts of the Pakistani government and people to safeguard national stability, she said.

At least 28 people were killed and over 60 others were injured in a suicide attack that targeted a religious seminary in Pakistan's southwestern provincial capital of Quetta on Sunday night.

In Pakistan's northwest Peshawar city, at least 14 people were killed and 25 others injured when a bomb hit a security forces' convoy on Sunday afternoon.
