Peng Liyuan visits children in Mexico

Chinese President Xi Jinping's wife Peng Liyuan has visited Federico Gomez Children's Hospital in Mexico City. She was accompanied by Mexico's first lady Angelica Rivera.

Peng Liyuan met with children who were staying at the hospital. She wished them a quick recovery and welcomed them to visit China in the future. The Mexican children greeted Peng by saying hello in Chinese.

Peng said to Rivera that "calling upon the whole society to take care of children, especially the sick ones, are our shared responsibility." She said China and Mexico could carry out exchanges on children's health care.
