A case of poisoning has claimed the lives of two young children in north China's Hebei province.
According to Pingshan county police, last Wednesday the principal of a local kindergarten injected rat poison in a yogurt, and then placed it near a rival kindergarten along with children's books.
Two children ate the poisoned yogurt. One, aged 6, died on the way to the hospital. The other, aged 5, died after a week of treatment.
