China has formally formed a new National Health and Family Planning Commission as part of the government reorganization.
It merges the Ministry of Health and the National Population and Family Planning Commission and will promote China's family planning policy, medical reform and the public health service system.
It's seen as an important measure to ensure people's health. The plan was approved by the National People's Congress earlier this month.
