A man surnamed Fu was arrested by Xicheng district prosecutors for using naked photos to extort money, the Beijing Evening News reported Thursday.
Fu became friendly with a woman surnamed Zhang through a chatroom in January, and found her to be open and flirtatious. On January 18, Fu asked Zhang out, and they had sex in a hotel. Later, Fu persuaded Zhang to send him some naked photos, and then tried to importune her to have a threesome with two other men. Zhang refused.
Fu threatened to show the naked photos to her boyfriend and colleagues unless she gave him 3,000 yuan ($483).
Fu was arrested when he met Zhang to get the money.
