What elsewhere in the world say about China's new leadership... let's first take a look at how the NPC election systems work.
The NPC's presidium nominates the candidates for the NPC Standing Committee's Chairman, Vice Chairpersons and Secretary-general, the country's President and Vice President, and the Chairman of the Central Military Commission. Candidates to become NPC Standing Committee members must be nominated from NPC deputies.
Once the the list of candidates is drafted, it will be discussed in group meetings where voters can freely express ther opinions. Then the presidium will decide the final list of candidates, and hand it in to the NPC for a vote.
Finally, the national leaders elected by the NPC will be announced by the presidium in a gazette.
