A 4.8-magnitude quake jolted a county home to Hani ethnic minority in southwestern Yunnan Province at 1:01 p.m. Wednesday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter, with a depth of 5 km, was monitored at 23.3 degrees north latitude and 101.6 degrees east longitude, the center said.
