Beijing on Monday released the approved list of its representatives to the 12th Beijing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the capital's advisory body.
A total of 761 representatives are on the list, said Yan Zhongqiu, secretary-general of the Beijing CPPCC.
They come from 32 different sectors, with 14 more representatives coming from the economics sector and 10 more from the science and technology sector than for the 11th Beijing CPPCC, Yan said. There are 458 non-Communist representatives, about 60 percent of the total.
The first session of the 12th Beijing CPPCC will be held from Jan 21 to 25.
