From artists Huang Kui, Chen Xiaoyun, Shao Yi, Tang Maohong, Zhang Ding, Sun Xun, Geng Jianyi and Xiang Liqing, ShanghART presents the group show Checkup. The artists work with a range of art forms, from photographs to paintings to video installations, while all hint at the medical checkup theme.

This really is a painting exhibition, featuring painted works from fresh, young Chinese artists Cheng Guangfeng, Deng Yifu, Huang Lin, Lu Zhengyuan, Sheng Tianhong and Xie Bingxin. Curated by Wang Lin, the exhibition lets viewers draw their own conclusions about what kind of painting exhibition this truly is.

65Daysofstatic concert @ Yugong Yishan
British post-rock outfit 65Daysofstatic is stopping by Yugong Yishan Sunday in their first-ever Chinese mainland tour. They've done Japan's Summer Sonic, Asia's biggest music festival, as well as sell-out shows in Singapore and Taiwan, but Beijing audiences are sure to show them a whole other side of the Asian experience.
