Seven were killed and another 14 injured after a coach ran into a truck on a highway in southwest China's Sichuan Province Thursday morning, safety watchdog said.
The 30-seat coach carrying 18 passengers hit a truck at 10:40 a.m. at the road section of Renshou County in the city of Meishan on the National Highway No. 213., said the county's work safety and supervision bureau.
Five died at the scene, and another two dead on the way to hospital. The 14 others injured were rushed to three local hospitals and it is not known yet whether their injuries were life threatening or not, said the spokesman.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
