Taxi surcharge reduces

The taxi fuel surcharge in Beijing will be reduced to 2 yuan ($0.3), a reduction of 1 yuan starting Wednesday, China News Service reported Monday.

The Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform said Monday that according to the policy of the adjustment in the price of domestic oil, starting Wednesday, passengers will pay a 2-yuan surcharge for distances exceeding 3 kilometers.　

This is the fourth surcharge adjustment this year.
