A man who protested atop a 30-meter-high tower crane for 14 hours at a construction site near Ande Lu, Xicheng district, was persuaded to come down by police at 9 pm Wednesday, the Legal Mirror reported Thursday.
A friend of the man, surnamed Han, claimed his friend had not been paid for 470,000 yuan ($75,623) of steel he provided to the site.
