Sany: Fight to end to sue Obama

Sany Group, China's biggest construction machinery manufacturer, has reiterated it will fight to the end in its efforts to sue US President Barack Obama for blocking its wind farm project purchase deal in the United States.

The preliminary hearing at the US District Court for the District of Columbia on Wednesday was expected to determine whether the court has the right to handle the Sany case, but it failed to make the decision.

Liang Wengen, board chairman of Sany, said the company will take the case to the US Supreme Court if it's not accepted at the district court.

The Chinese company last month filed an amended complaint against Obama and the Committee on Foreign Investment in the US at the US District Court in Washington. It claims the president's order preventing it from owning four wind farms in Oregon exceeded its constitutional rights and failed to provide detailed evidence.

Wu Jialiang, vice president of Sany Group Co. Ltd., said, "I think the fair verdict is to show us the evidence. We did not affect the US national security. It is merely a business transaction. We did not and will not do such things. And we also seek proper and reasonable economic compensation."
