Local police clarified a rumor started by a microblog user who claimed a suspicious man tried to take her child away from nearby a kindergarten in Pudong New Area Tuesday night.
Police went to the kindergarten to check the surveillance footage of the surrounding area, but didn't find any evidence of an abduction.
