Phone spat leads to death sentence

A 21-year-old construction worker was sentenced to death by Beijing First Intermediate Court Monday for stabbing his workmate to death in a dispute over a cellphone in May, reported the Legal Mirror.

Guo Libin stabbed a 19-year-old colleague, surnamed Wang, after he was accused of stealing Wang's phone, which was later found. Guo stabbed Wang while he was asleep.
