Recycling project grows

Shanghai added 1,500 more locations to its garbage sorting and recycling project in 2012, local sanitation authorities announced Tuesday.

The project has been opened to government organizations, companies, wet markets, parks and schools this year, expanding the city's goal of launching the sanitation project in 1,080 residential compounds last year.
