Scholars express views on Diaoyu standoff

More than 50 scholars and experts from across China attended a seminar in Shanghai Wednesday, discussing the recent row over the Diaoyu Islands.

At the seminar organized by the Shanghai Institute for International Studies, scholars and experts focused on the history of the Diaoyu Islands, the impact of Japan's recent actions in the Asia-Pacific region and the development of Sino-Japanese relations.
