Senior CPC official to visit Singapore, Turkmenistan

 Zhou Yongkang, a senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC), will kick off official goodwill visits to Singapore and Turkmenistan on Friday.

Huang Huaguang, a spokesman of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the announcement on Wednesday.

Zhou, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and also secretary of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the CPC Central Committee, will also attend a high-level forum on social management in Singapore, which runs from Sept. 21 to 25.
