The capital reported 2,703 cases of infectious diseases last week, and seven patients, including two AIDS and three hepatitis B patients died, the Beijing municipal health bureau told the Global Times Wednesday.
Dysentery, tuberculosis, syphilis and hepatitis B accounted for 90 percent of infectious diseases in total.
