CPC to strengthen human resource management

A senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official on Friday called for more efforts to improve the Party's leadership in managing the country's talents.

Enhanced capacity is a necessity for the Party and the country's development, said Li Yuanchao, head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee.

Li urged the thorough implementation of a recent human resource management guideline from the Central Committee.

The Party should directly unite with important talents by creating ideological links and listening to their appeals and suggestions, Li said at a conference for the Party's central talent management coordination team.

Innovative human resource policies and key talent-cultivating projects should also be introduced, Li added.
