Five people were killed and one injured in a collision between a sulfuric acid-carrying tractor and a van Saturday noon in east China's Anhui province, local authorities said.
The collision happened at 11:37 a.m. Saturday and then caused a fire on a section of the National Highway 318 in Nanling county, county officials said.
Both vehicles were seriously damaged, officials said.
Police are investigating the incident.
