A couple and three of their relatives were jailed by Beijing No.2 Intermediate Court yesterday, after they plotted to murder a man, the Legal Mirror reported.
The wife, surnamed Du, had an affair with a man surnamed Xu, who attempted to blackmail Du with naked photos. Du confessed the affair to her husband, who called on relatives to help solve the problem. The three relatives killed Xu, and threw his body into a river in Huairou district on May 24, 2009.
One man was sentenced to death, suspended for two years, and the others received sentences from 12 years to life.
