A fire near a sea food market in Fengtai district snarled local traffic and practically closed the market for an hour on Wednesday night, the Beijing Evening News reported Thursday.
The blaze started in a dumpster and scorched two fish stalls inside Jingshen Sea Food Market, Fengtai district, clogging streets leading outward.
Market workers scrambled to remove inflammable material out of the dumpster after the fire was put out.
