Milla Jovovich and Li Bingbing Reunite at Cannes. [Xinhua]
Chinese actress Li Bingbing has been busy recently walking red carpets and attending parties during the ongoing 65th Cannes International Film Festival.
She appeared in all her elegance on the red carpet for the premier ceremony of the crime thriller "Killing Them Softly," starring Brad Pitt, on May 22.
On the same day, Li was invited to attend a cocktail party held by L'Oreal, one of the biggest cosmetics companies in the world. At the event Li was reunited with the leading actress of the "Resident Evil" franchise Milla Jovovich, as the pair attempt to drum up interest prior to the release of the latest installment of the franchise due in September.
In the upcoming installment, "Resident Evil: Retribution", Chinese actress Li Bingbing portrays a woman named Ada Wong who appears frequently amidst the film's action-packed scenes.
"Resident Evil: Retribution" is slated for release on September 14, 2012, in North America in 3-D format.
