A Beijing investor was told Monday the 20 million yuan ($3.16 million) credited to his account was a system mistake made by Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and the money was removed, the Beijing Evening News reported.
SSE officials said a system test over the weekend was responsible for the error.
