National acrobatic team stages performance in Myanmar

Chinese national acrobatic team staged performance in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar's new capital, Wednesday for charity show after its first show in Yangon, the former capital.

The performance was watched by Myanmar Vice President Dr. Sai Mauk Kham. The Myanmar leader appraised Myanmar-China friendship and the excellent acrobatic skills performed by the Chinese troupe.

Minister of Information and Culture U Kyaw Hsan and Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Li Junhua on the occasion gave speech, highly praising Myanmar-China friendship and hoping promotion of cultural change between the two countries.

Myanmar acrobatic players trained in China also joined the performances, the box office of which will be donated to Myanmar library foundation.

The China National Acrobatic Troupe performed famous programs of plates spinning, group diabolos, contortionist, bicycle skills and other performances on the occasion.

All the audiences applauded the special eye-catching performance of the Chinese acrobatic team which plays an important part in various cultural exchange activities in and out of China.

The troupe will proceed to Mandalay on Friday and Saturday.

Chinese national acrobatic team has visited 120 countries and regions across the world up to 2011.

The team not only preserves many traditional programs, but also integrates acrobatics, music, dance, drama, Chinese Kungfu and Beijing Opera. It has won 52 golden awards at renowned festivals at home and abroad since 1957.
