Four Great Regions at the Summer Palace

After 18 months of renovation, the Four Great Regions (Sida Buzhou) finally unveils its beauty and welcomes people from all over the world to worship there during the May Day holidays. The Four Great Regions is a cluster of Tibetan lama temples. According to the Buddhist sutras, the Buddha used to live in Xumi Mountain, which was surrounded by the sea. In the sea there were four great regions and this spot in the Summer Palace is said to be built on the basis of them.

Hide Memorial Day

No one can ignore the contribution of rock band X Japan in Japan's music scene. Established in 1982, it weathered the storms to become the first Japanese act to achieve mainstream success and made headlines due to the husky voice of the lead singer and the crazy hairstyles and makeup. Then its guitarist Hide committed suicide in May 1998 and led to the dissolution of the band. People still hold events to commemorate him. This year, both bands from Japan and China will cover the songs of X Japan and bring back those precious memories to their fans.

Club 3 shows a documentary each week and this time it brings a BBC one, which reveals the magical process of decay in nature. In this documentary there is no end for life. Everything is in a cycle. When death leads to decay, new life is born. In English with Chinese subtitles. A discussion will follow after the screening.
