China asserted its dominance in diving pool after winning six gold, one silver and one bronze medals at the 2012 FINA Diving World Series Moscow stop which concluded on Saturday.

Chinese Olympic champion Lin Yue made a temporary decision to compete in the men's 10-meter platform, but he still delivered a good performance and beat his major competitor British Thomas Daley to win the title. The U.S. diver Nick Mccrory ranked third.

However, in the men's synchro ten-meter platform on Friday, Lin, pairing up with his teammate Huo Liang, did not do their best, only taking a fourth place.

In the women's three-meter springboard, Chinese diver He Zi defeated veteran Wu Minxian by a 0.75 points and won the gold medal for this event.

China's Chen Ruolin/ Wang Hao led all the way with their commanding performances to pluck the women's synchro ten-meter platform gold medal without any suspension.

The Chinese duo seemed in a good mood after the victory, as they present flowers to the little Russian audiences when they came down from the stage.

The Chinese team did not participate in the men's synchro three-meter springboard event, in which the host Russian team claimed the title.

In the opening day of the Moscow stop on Friday, Chinese divers won three golds out of four.

Olympic and World Cup champion He Chong set a good example for Chinese team, clinching the men's three-meter springboard title at 497.65 points. He was followed by Russia's Evgeny Kuznetsov at 477.05 points and other Russian diver Illya Zakharov at 454.80 points.

However, He was not satisfied with the result. "I didn't perform well today, otherwise I would gain 20 points more in the game," he told Xinhua.

The Chinese duo Wu Minxia/ He Zi outshone their rivals to win the women's synchro three-meter springboard without a doubt. Italy's Tania Cagnotto/ Francesca Dallape finished the second and the bronze medal went to American Bryant Kelci/ Abigail Johnston.

In women's ten-meter platform, 19-year-old Olympic champion Chen Ruolin snatched the gold. Her teammate 16-year-old Hu Yadan finished the third and Ukraine's Luliia Prokopchuk took the second place.

Chen told Xinhua that she didn't play her best in the game, and she hoped to reach her best condition by practices and training.

The Chinese diving squad will next head to Tijuana, Mexico for the last stop of the 2012 Diving World Series, which is scheduled for April 20 and 21.

The Moscow stop, which attracted over 30 divers from 12 countries and regions, is the third leg of the series.

The Diving World Series was launched in 2007 with three host organizers - British Swimming, China Swimming Association and Mexican Swimming Federation.

In 2011, the Russian Swimming Federation joined the club, reinforcing the international dimension of the event.

The World Series provide the best divers from previous Olympic Games and World Championships with the opportunity to compete in three-meter springboard, 10-meter platform, synchro three-meter springboard and synchro 10-meter platform.
