On April 10, the results of the "2011 Amazing China - The Most Attractive Chinese Cities for Foreigners" survey were revealed. The top 10 most attractive Chinese cities selected are Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Suzhou, Chongqing, Xiamen and Hangzhou.
The survey was launched and conducted by the International Talent magazine (Website for the survey: vote.chinajob.com), a prestigious media in the realm of the import of overseas talents and the exchange and cooperation of international talents.
The survey started in June 2011 and ended in December 2011. More than 182,600 foreigners participated in this activity with 353 candidate cities of prefecture-level and above on the Chinese mainland.
According to the results, Beijing and Shanghai respectively rank first and second with absolute predominance. The points obtained by Beijing and Shanghai accounted for 39 percent of the total and almost equaled to the total points obtained by all the other eight cities (41.5 percent), making the two cities stand on the first line in attracting foreign talents.
