A coal mine flooding occurred in Peixian county of east China's Jiangsu Province Tuesday afternoon, trapping 7 miners underground.
Ten miners were working at the Kongzhuang Coal Mine, owned by the Datun Coal and Power company under the China National Coal Group, when the flooding occurred at 5:37 p.m. Three workers managed to escape, according to the company.
