The fifth session of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, began its closing meeting in Beijing Wednesday morning.
The deputies have adopted Premier Wen Jiabao's government work report, the country's 2012 plan for national economic and social development and the revision to the Criminal Procedure Law.
They have also adopted the work report of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the work report of the Supreme People's Court and the work report of the NPC Standing Committee.
Chinese premier Wen Jiabao is set to meet the press at the Great Hall of the People at 11:00am.
