New college blood drive

Some 150 students gave blood Monday at a new college blood drive at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, which aims to help relieve the city of blood shortage pressures.

Another 8,000 students are expected to give to the campaign in the next three months, adding to the efforts of nearly 60,000 other students who give blood in the city every year.
