Communist Party of China Shanghai Municipal Committee Secretary Yu Zhengsheng Wednesday sympathized with a local resident, who complained that "connections" or "guanxi" in China has made it difficult for him to get his cancer-sick father the treatment he needs.
On the city's official microblog, Yu offered no quick solution, but said that "a general realization of the problem will help to improve medical policies in the future."
