A pedestrian, who was trying to hail a cab along Middle Ring Road Tuesday morning, died soon after being struck by a car that failed to slow down in time to stop for the breaking taxi ahead, local media reported Tuesday.
Seconds later, another car rear-ended the car that struck the man, after it, too, failed to break in time, causing a three-car pileup, said witnesses.
