Chongqing Deputy Mayor leaves for treatment

(Ecns.cn)—Wang Lijun, the gang crackdown hero and Deputy Mayor of Chongqing, Southwest China, has taken an early vacation to get treatment for severe health problems, announced the press office for the municipal government via a post on Weibo (Chinese version of Twitter) this morning.

The announcement attributes Wang's health troubles to a long period of stress on the job. It didn't mention Wang's destination or when he would be returning to his job.
