Over 20 couples filed lawsuits to divorce in the three days after the Spring Festival holiday at Fengtai district court, the Legal Mirror reported yesterday.
Most of the couples had quarreled over trivial matters during the holiday. A woman at the court said she divorced her husband because he only spent one day with the family during the seven-day holiday. The court only dealt with nine divorce cases a week before the holiday.
