No.5 seed Li Na lost to defending champion Kim Clijster in three sets and failed to make into the quarterfinals of 2012 Australian Open in Melbourne on Sunday.
Li, Australian Open runner-up and French Open winner in 2011, won the first set 6-4 but can't hold Clijsters' fight back and lost 6-7 in the second.
The No.11 seed Belgian established a 5-1 lead in the third set. Li Na won three games in straight but still lost the set 4-6.
