Beijing to build cultural parks

Beijing plans to build and develop five cultural parks across the city, including historical sites of Yuanmingyuan in Haidian district, Zhoukoudian, Liulihe and Jinling in Fangshan district, and Tuanhe in Daxing district, the Beijing Evening News reported Monday.

Liulihe area was an important site in the Western Zhou Dynasty (1046-771BC), and the current buildings and museums at the Zhoukoudian site will have to move out.
