(Ecns.cn)--A strange slope was recently discovered in Ar Horqinhan Sumu, Inner Mongolia, where a car can roll up with the engine off and a bike can climb from the bottom to the top without being pedaled.
In just a short time, the mysterious slope has attracted a large number of unbelievers both from China and abroad, who came to experience it themselves and try to give some explanations.
"My whole family came here after hearing about the strange slope," said a foreigner. "It is really strange. But I guess there must be a theory."
Speculations about the reason for the strange phenomenon have varied. According to students from Fudan University in Shanghai, the magnetic field nearby might have been changed due to the abundant minerals buried underground. Another theory is that the landscape around the slope has caused an optical illusion that the slope is stretching upwards, but it is actually going down.
